About Us

Bruneton House offers spacious bed and breakfast accommodation within the picturesque and historic village of Brompton Regis, near Wimbleball Lake and  Dulverton in Exmoor National Park.

A stay with us offers you the best of both worlds; rural tranquillity and beautiful views combined with the convenience of a central village location. The village shop is open every day till 1pm and there are a variety of walks on your doorstep..

Nestled in the Brendon Hills, stunning scenery surrounds Brompton Regis in all directions. It is the ideal base for walking, cycling, fishing, birdwatching, and the dark skies make stargazing a must too.

Bruneton House is also the perfect location for exploring the wider Exmoor countryside and North Somerset and Devon coast. Wimbleball Lake is a mile away, Dunkery Beacon, the highest point on Exmoor (and offering the most amazing views) is a short drive and Minehead is just 30 minutes away.

There is so much to see and do all year round. Whatever you’re looking for from your Exmoor getaway, Brompton Regis is the ideal location.

Bruneton House is our home and we have lived here since September 2018. We saw the house, fell in love with the view and knew we had to make it our home.  Now we’re delighted to share this wonderful location with you.

We look forward to welcoming you.
